Yvette G. Ayala, 61, of Gilcrest, passed away Saturday, February 15, 2025 at her home. She was born April 17, 1963 in Greeley. Yvette grew up in Gilcrest and graduated from Valley High School in 1981 where she was active in the Pride of the Valley marching band. She married Manuel Ayala on October 3, 1986 in Greeley.Yvette was a homemaker and had also done clerical work for a medical office and worked at the elementary school with special needs children. She went to every event her children and grandchildren were involved in and was their biggest cheerleader. She collected apples, windchimes, enjoyed dancing, and family dinners. She loved word puzzles, board games, and making bracelets. She was also a Dallas Cowboy's fan and loved all things purple and bedazzled. Yvette gave the best hugs and treated everyone like family. Yvette is survived by her husband, Manuel Ayala of Gilcrest; her children, Carmen Rodriguez and husband Juan of Evans, Kristin Montez and husband Raymon of Evans, Manuel L. Ayala of Denver, and Ellery Cervantes of Evans; her grandchildren, Kierra Cervantes, Miguel Moreno, Reyna Moreno, Taylor Kamphaus, Ava Kamphaus, Sophia Rodriguez, and Juliana Rodriguez; and her siblings, Margaret Fernandez and husband Ignacio of Mexico and James Garcia of Greeley.She was preceded in death by her brothers, Paul Garcia and Daniel Garcia as well as her parents, Lyonel and Mary Lou Garcia.Recitation of the Rosary will be held at 6:00p.m. Wednesday, February 26, 2025 at Adamson Life Celebration Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 a.m.  Thursday, February 27, 2025 at St. Nicholos Catholic Church in Platteville.
