Victor "Victor P" Snyder

November 19, 1940 — January 24, 2026

Come to me, all you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Matthew 11:28

Victor “Victor P.” Pearce Snyder, 85, of Westminster, Colorado, passed peacefully into God’s embrace on January 24, 2026, at home and surrounded by the love of those who cherished him.

Born on November 19, 1940, in Los Angeles, California, Victor’s early years were shaped by the warmth of his parents, Elanor and George Snyder. After their passing in 1956, he moved to Loveland, Colorado, where his aunt and uncle welcomed him into their home and guided him through his teenage years. He graduated from Loveland High School in 1958, carrying with him a deep sense of resilience and gratitude.

It was during those high school years that Victor met Audrey Patricia O’Dell, the woman who would become his first wife and the mother of his two sons. They married in 1960 and built a life grounded in love, family, and shared purpose.

Victor devoted more than four decades to Public Service/Excel Energy, rising to the role of foreman through dedication, skill, and a strong work ethic. Even after long days on the job, he continued to work part-time for The Denver Post, delivering newspapers for many years. His commitment to providing for his family was unwavering.

Beyond his work, Victor found joy in the things that brought him closer to the world around him—tending to his garden, attending racing events, and exploring hot rod shows and swap meets. These passions reflected his appreciation for craftsmanship, community, and the thrill of discovery. He always enjoyed fabricating and welding and loved being in the middle of any custom hot rod project. He spent many years helping Jeff Showalter with fabrication and paint at Jeff’s shop.

Victor had an eye for vibrant color, and his favorite was always that unmistakable bright orange. He painted his life with that same boldness—full of warmth, generosity, and spirit. His soul carried that color too: carefree, open-hearted, and always ready to give the shirt off his back to anyone in need.

Victor is preceded in death by his parents and by his first wife, Audrey Patricia Snyder. He is survived by his sister, Nola Camille Pear; his sons, Kevin Snyder and Kent (Valerie) Snyder; and several step-grandchildren.

His family is deeply grateful to AMG Hospice for the compassion and care they provided during his final days.

May Victor’s memory be a source of comfort and a reminder of a life lived with quiet strength, devotion, and love. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association.

A celebration of his life will be held at Amici’s Pizzeria & Italian Restaurant, 4300 Wadsworth Blvd, Wheat Ridge, CO 80033, on March 7th from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
