He graduated from Indianola High School and Mississippi State University, where he was a member of Pi Kappa Alpha. Darryl enjoyed golf, tennis, and entertaining guests with his favorite hobby—cooking. He was a member of Old St. Andrews Anglican Church in Charleston.
A man of many talents, Darryl spent 25 years as a State Farm agent in Greenville, Mississippi, before “retiring” to Charleston, where he worked in the restaurant business for several years. Darryl was a devoted husband, father, and friend—a steady, positive presence until the end.
