Theresa Renee Harteau

Theresa “Renee” Harteau, 67, Duluth passed away July 3rd 2023 at St.Mary’s Hospital. She is proceeded in death by her grandparents; Bernard and Irene Harteau, mother Janice Harteau, grandchild; Samantha Earls, uncles; John Harteau, Richard “Dickie” Harteau, Bernard Harteau, and Aunt; Gloria Hagadorn. Renee as everyone knew her as, loved to cook and bake. She cooked for about 15 years in a few different locations around Duluth. She was know for her banana bread, cookies and bars that she would bake all year round for family and friends. She loved to be around family and friends. Renee loved to be outdoors and to garden. Everyone who knew her would tell you she was always just a good time and a joy to be around. Renee had special bonds with everyone in her life, and always lent an ear whenever you needed. Renee leaves behind her two sons; Derek and Desmond Harteau, Two grandchildren; Teal (Kennedy) Harteau, and Demi (Deg) Longtin, and four great grandchildren; Ariah, Mateo, Trinidy, and Dax, her brother; Mark Starkovich Aunts and uncles; Nancy (Tim) Thorstad, Barbara (John) Radosevich, Claudia (John) Herrera, Cyndi Carlson (Courtney Smith), Gordon Harteau and Steve (Brenda) Harteau, her life long best friends; Karen and Lynn, along with numerous cousin and other family members. A Celebration of Life will be held at Harrison Community Center in Lincoln Park Aug. 4th, 2023 at 1:00pm until 4:00pm. There will be food and drinks along with pictures and music.
