Steven Paul Gordon, 71, of Gloversville, NY, passed away on March 9, 2025, after a prolonged illness.

Steve was born on October 30, 1953, to Harold and Ellen Gordon in Gloversville, NY. Steve graduated from Gloversville High School in 1972. After graduating, he was employed by General Electric, then went to work at the Fulton County Sheriff's Department and retired as an investigator after 25 years of service.

Steve and his wonderful wife, Kathy (Simon), have been married for 48 amazing years. Steve and Kathy went on to have 2 beautiful daughters, Melissa and Ashley. Steve loved spending time with his family, fishing, and watching the Giants lose every week. Steve enjoyed space, astrology, and history.

Steve was predeceased by his daughter Melissa Gordon and his mother Ellen Gordon. He is survived by his daughter Ashley Morrison (John), father Harold Gordon, sister Michelle Johnson (Tim), brother-in-law Richard Simon, nephew Eric Johnson (Rachael), niece Heather Murphy (Chris), niece Sara Shults (Keith), niece Katie Hart (Danny) and several great nieces and nephews and cousins.

Family and friends are invited to visit on Monday, March 17, 2025, at Betz, Rossi, Bellinger & Stewart Family Funeral Home, 51 Fremont Street, Gloversville, NY 12078, from 4pm-7pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude's or the Humane Society.
