Scott Richard Lee Mccracken

July 16, 1987 — May 14, 2025

Scott "Scotty" Richard Lee McCracken, a beacon of laughter, love, and light, passed away unexpectedly on May 14th, 2025 at the age of 37. His sudden departure has left an irreplaceable void in the hearts of all who knew him, but his legacy of joy, kindness, and unforgettable humor will endure forever.

Born on July 16th, 1987 to Shannon and Scott McCracken, Scotty was a man who could turn even the darkest moments into ones filled with laughter. His wit was unmatched, his smile infectious, and his ability to make everyone feel like the most special person in the room was a gift he shared generously. Whether through a perfectly timed joke, a listening ear, or a warm embrace, Scotty had an extraordinary talent for lifting spirits and uniting people. Above all, Scotty cherished his family. He is survived by his partner, Stacy Hall, their young son, Duke, and their adored furbaby, Rhyatt; his devotion to them was boundless. Scotty also leaves behind his mother, Shannon McCracken; father, Scott McCracken; paternal grandmother, Marian P. McCracken; maternal  grandmother, Marilyn J. Brown; siblings Nicole McCracken, Ryan McCracken, Caitlin McCracken, and Taylor Brown; nieces Rylynn and Oakley; nephews Odin and Oakland; and countless aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who loved him deeply. He was preceded in death by his stepmother, Paulette McCracken; paternal aunt, Elizabeth Hoye; paternal uncle, Lee McCracken Sr.; maternal uncle, Robert A. Brown VI; and maternal grandfather, Robert A. Brown V. We take great comfort in knowing they are now reunited and they've welcomed him home. Scotty’s memory will live on in the stories shared, the laughter echoed, and the love he planted in every heart he touched. A celebration of his life will be held at 11:00am on Friday June 6th, 2025 at the Legacy Funeral Home in Chandler, Arizona. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you honor Scotty by embracing life with his signature humor, kindness, and the unwavering belief that everyone deserves to feel seen and loved. Rest easy, little brother. You were the best of us, and your light will never fade.
