**Obituary for Rosetta "Rose" A. Murphy** It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Rosetta "Rose" A. Murphy, born on October 6, 1967, in Whiteriver, Arizona. Rose departed this life on August 26, 2025, in Albuquerque, New Mexico, leaving behind a legacy of love and laughter. Rose was a nurturing mother to her two beloved daughters, Monique, who shared her life with partner Kyle, and Megan, partnered with Brian. She held a special place in her heart for her grandchildren, Carmen, Charlotte, and Logan, with whom she cherished many joyful moments. Rose is also survived by her devoted partner, Manuel, as well as her mother, two sisters, and a brother, all of whom will remember her kind and generous spirit. Family gatherings where Rose delighted in cooking red chile, tortillas, and fry bread are treasured memories among her loved ones. Her warmth and humor made every occasion brighter, reflecting the true essence of her character. A ceremony to honor her life will take place at Riverside Funeral Homes in Albuquerque, NM, on September 18th at 11:00 AM. In accordance with her wishes, Rose will be cremated, and her ashes will be spread in Gallup, NM, a place that held significance for her. As we remember Rosetta "Rose," we celebrate a life filled with love, laughter, and endless devotion to her family. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
