Rosa Senaida Troncoso, 83, of Johnstown, Colorado peacefully passed away at home on January 25, 2026, surrounded by her family.

Rosa was born October 21, 1941, in Montezuma, NM, to Damacio and Navora (Encinias) Maestas. She grew up in Montezuma where she attended school. On June 23, 1962, she married Juan Troncoso at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church in Greeley. They had 56 wonderful years together.

Rosa worked as a housekeeper at McKee Medical Center and Berthoud Living Center until her retirement. She enjoyed traveling, cooking, shopping, and spending time with her daughters, grandchildren, and extended family. Her legacy of compassion and love will live on in those who were blessed to know her. She was a member of St. John Catholic Church in Johnstown.

Rosa is survived by her daughters Catherine (Mark) Benjamin and Patricia (David) Ramirez both of Greeley. She is also survived by grandchildren Carolyn (Danny) Cruz, Andrea (Brian) Tellez, Rochelle (Rodolfo) Cruz, Matthew Creighton, Steven (Cydnie) Bejarano, and Daniel Ramirez; great-grandchildren Dominick, Isabella, Gabby, Michael, Jaysen, Lea, Ana, Kylie, Kayden, Emilia, and Edwin; brothers Santiago Lovato, Rick Maestas, and sisters Gloria Hernandez, Lucy Camarillo and Frances Vigil. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Juan Troncoso, daughter Juanita (Robin) Stuart, brothers Manuel Lovato, Jose Maestas, and sister Antonia (Lala) Coca.

A Recitation of the Rosary will be conducted at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, February 3, 2026, with a Mass of Christian Burial following at 11:00 A.M., at St John the Baptist Catholic Church, 1000 County Acres Drive, Johnstown, Colorado 80534.

Burial will take place at the Johnstown Cemetery, Johnstown, Colorado.
