Ronald Anthony Brungardt, born on December 22, 1942 passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, December 22, 2024. Ron was born in Garden City, KS to Antone "Tony" Brungardt, and Emma (Danler) Brungardt.

Ron married his sweetheart, Ruth Wade, on October 28, 1959. Ron and Ruth had the honor this past October of celebrating 65 years of marriage together with their friends and family. Family was EVERYTHING to Ron! He bragged about his kids, grandkids, and great grandkids to everyone he encountered. Time with family was always a priority, and events with family were always met with anticipation and excitement.

Ron was a pillar in the Kersey community for over 30 years where he ran his gas station and grocery store, R&B Supermarket. He loved the conversations with all the members of the community.

Ron's hobbies and passions included farming, riding horses, and making friends with everyone he met. Ron knew no strangers. He loved training up his colts to be the horses of his dreams and desires. When he wasn't working with them, he was usually watching cowboy shows on television. John Wayne was his favorite cowboy, and he knew all his movies like the back of his hand.

Ron spent his entire life honoring the Lord. His love for the Lord was evident to all those who knew him.

Ron is survived by his wife Ruth, daughters Rhonda (Rod) Weimer of Eaton, CO, Roxanne (Tim) Hunteman of Eaton, CO, son Randy (Terri) Brungardt of Peyton, CO, 9 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and a brother Jimmy Brungardt of Garden City, KS.

He is preceded in death by both of his parents, brothers Don and Marvin Brungardt, sister Betty Brungardt, and granddaughter Tonja Weimer.

A visitation will be held at Adamson Life Celebration Home (2000 47th Avenue, Greeley CO) from 4:00-7:00 pm on Thursday, December 26, 2024.  His Life Celebration will be held at 10:30 am Friday December 27, 2024, at Eaton Community Church, 1561 Benjamin Drive, Eaton.  A lunch will follow and Interment will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday at Linn Grove Cemetery.  Condolences may be shared at AdamsonCares.com .
