Lifelong Gloversville resident, Robert J. Migliavacca, 79, passed away on Saturday, December 28, 2024, at Nathan Littauer Hospital.

He was born on November 26, 1945, in Gloversville to the late John and Elizabeth (Bradt) Migliavacca. He graduated from Gloversville High School, and went on to enlist in the United States Marine Corps. He served from 1967 to 1968, where he spent six months in Iceland. After being honorably discharged, he began working at Knight Oil Company in Johnstown, where he was employed for nearly 40 years.

Robert enjoyed working on cars, hunting, and reading.

He was predeceased by his wife of 45 years Sandra (Loux) Migliavacca; parents John and Betty Migliavacca; as well as siblings Butch Migliavacca and Kathy Gulick.

Robert is survived by his son Shane Migliavacca and their cat Buddy.

Robert's funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Betz, Rossi, Bellinger & Stewart Family Funeral Home, 51 Fremont Street, Gloversville, NY 12078. In keeping with his wishes, there will be no services at this time.
