Robert P. Gerdes Jr.

Robert (Bob) Gerdes Jr., 81 of Sun City Center, Fl., passed away December 16, 2024 at HCA Florida South Shore Hospital. He was born to Robert and Virginia Gerdes on September 18, 1943 in Highland Park, Il.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Judith, of 45 years. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He served in Viet Nam as a Military Police Officer. He moved to Florida in 1980 where he has remained. He became involved with the Disabled American Veterans chapter #110 starting in 2010. He leaves behind family and countless friends.

He will be interred at Sarasota National Cemetery on Tuesday, February 4, 2025 at 10:30 a.m.
