Mr. Robert Arnold Young, Jr., age 59, of Amsterdam, passed away on July 19, 2025, at Ellis Hospital after a short illness.

He was born January 16, 1966 in Fayetteville, North Carolina and was the son of Eleanor Barker Young and the late Robert Arnold Young Sr. Robert graduated from the Amsterdam High School and worked with his Liberty Family for a few years. He loved building car models and painting and finishing ceramics.Robert is survived by his mother, Eleanor Barker Young of Amsterdam and his sister Wanda Young Bates and her husband Donald.
