"Sit down, shut up, hold on, Don't spill my Beer!"
Ricky Louis Meeds, born March 10, 1958, in Logan, Utah, passed away on December 20, 2024, in Kingman, Arizona. He was the beloved son of Clifford and Hazel Meeds and was preceded in death by his father. Ricky is fondly remembered by his family, including his mother Hazel, his brother and sister, his two sons Brandon and Adam Meeds, daughters-in-law Natalie and Kinsey, and three cherished grandchildren: Alex ("Gringo"), Raylee ("Maude"), and Arin ("Frog"). He also shared a loving life with his girlfriend Linda in Arizona.
Ricky spent much of his life on the road as a truck driver but also pursued his passion for mechanics at the Harley-Davidson testing track, where he earned a certification that reflected his skill and dedication. From a young age, Ricky had a natural talent for working with his hands and could often be found in his garage—his "office"—tinkering with anything mechanical. He generously shared his expertise with others, teaching welding and repair techniques and even creating instructional YouTube videos.
An adventurous spirit, Ricky loved cruising the sand dunes in his sand rail and four-wheelers. Known for his humor and playful personality, he delighted in practical jokes and had a knack for creating inventive solutions to everyday problems. His unique flair earned him the affectionate title of "Ultimate Redneck," a badge of honor he wore with pride.
Ricky’s legacy is one of laughter, ingenuity, and an enduring love for his family and friends. His memory will continue to bring comfort to all who knew him. May he rest in peace.
There will be an intimate Celebration of Life in Tremonton, Utah on January 18, 2025 and ashes will later be scattered in Arizona.
