Rebecca Ann Sweet, 41, of Gloversville, NY, passed away on Tuesday, January 14, 2025, at Westchester Medical Center.

She was born on June 5, 1983, in Stuttgart, Germany to David and Rosalie (Berry) Sweet. She was brought back to Gloversville, her father's hometown, six weeks after she was born, once her father had been honorably discharged. She attended Gloversville School District. After school, she dedicated her life to raising her children and taking care of her home.

Rebecca loved drawing and watching tv. She enjoyed going swimming and camping with her family, as they would regularly go on trips together. More than anything, she loved spending time with her children and siblings; the bond they shared was irreplaceable.

She was predeceased by her son Cameron Tyrrell and sister Joyce Harris.

Rebecca is survived by her parents David and Rosalie Sweet; children Tanish, Robert, Jacob, and Emily Tyrrell; brothers Terry and John Sweet; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Rebecca's arrangements have been entrusted to Betz, Rossi, Bellinger & Stewart Family Funeral Home, 51 Fremont Street, Gloversville, NY 12078. In keeping with her wishes, there will be no services at this time.
