Rebecca Kimzey

Rebecca (Becky) Kimzey, 68, went to be with the Lord on December 29, 2023 at home surrounded by her family. She was born August 14, 1955 to Douglas and Susan Branham at Galveston County, TX. Becky grow up a pastor kid traveling to where ever the Lord took her Father where they finally landed in Kimball, Nebraska. Becky graduated in 1974 from Kimball High School. Right after High School she married her sweet heart Brian Lee Kimzey at First Baptist Church in Kimball, Nebraska on June 1, 1974. From that union 2 daughters were born Joy & Hope. They moved to Texas after their first daughter was born. This is were Becky started her love for teaching God's Children. She taught preschool at the church. Becky also was a preschool Sunday School Teacher. She also loved teaching VBS. As a mission pastors wife she also got the opportunity to teach children camps and GA camps. She loved teaching children so much this is what she did for the rest of her life. Becky is survived by her husband Brian Lee Kimzey of Pipe Creek, TX. Daughters Joy Garringer (Larry) of Pipe Creek TX, Hope Rothe (Joel) of Longmont CO. Grandchildren Kora Voss (Josh), Grace Richards, Kaitlin Garringer , Liam Garringer, Payton & Braylon Rothe. Great Grandchildren Judd & Maverick Voss. Preceded in Death by her parents Douglas and Susan Branham Celebration of Life Service will be held January 27, 2024 at 10:00 am at 1910 Church (130 Sisterdale Rd. Boerne, TX 78006)
