Obituary

Phillip “BEEF” Stephen Sloan was born in Colorado on September 19th, 1953, to Johnny Washington Sloan and Vila Lou (Brake) Sloan.

Beef was a truck driver and owner of his own transportation business delivering meat. His license plate read “BEEFCAR” as to make him immediately recognized.

He enjoyed meeting people and telling stories, and making people smile, Beef also was big part of the community which he enjoyed serving. He was proud of his Native American Heritage, being part of the Wyandotte Nation.

He was young at heart, always telling his son Jason that he “wanted to grow up to be just like you”.

Beef is survived by his daughter Krisinda Sloan; son Jason Sloan; brothers John W. and Mark Sloan. He is predeceased by his parents, wife Cindy K. Sloan and sisters Lina and Naomi.
