Philip Wright, 80, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, at Oneida Center surrounded by his family.

Born on February 16, 1945, in Stamford, New York, a son of the late Harry and Lena (Irwin) Wright.

Philip worked as a machine operator for Noteworthy in Amsterdam. In his spare time, he was an avid hunter and loved to fish. You could often find him watching his favorite old tv shows and movies. Most of all, he was a loving father, grandfather, brother and friend who will be greatly missed.

Philip is predeceased by his loving wife, Nancy (Borthwick) Wright, who he wed on March 11, 1972, it was a loving union of 43 years until her passing on March 20, 2015.

Survivors include his son, Todd Wright (Tia); daughters, Stephanie Sweet (Eric) and Yvonne Masi (Daniel); brother, Paul Wright (Jeanne); 7 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren; sister in laws, Patty Wright and Mel Wright; nieces, nephews and extended family. Besides his parents and wife, Philip was predeceased by his brothers, Sid and Bob; sisters, Martha and Ceal.

A graveside services for Philip will be held at Maple Ave Cemetery, Fultonville on Friday, April 18, 2025 at 1pm.
