Penny Jean Coleman was the daughter of Clarence and Margaret Coleman and sister to Mike, Patty, and Tim. Penny departed this world on September 17, 2024 at the age of 71. Penny went to business school and was an accountant for numerous oil companies. She had a passion for travel (especially cruises) that took her all over the world. Penny would take family members on these trips, which created countless cherished memories for many of us. She was always eager to share these memories, stories, and photographs with others. She deeply loved quilting and many of those quilts kept her loved ones warm. She won several awards for her quilts over the years and each quilt is a reminder of her love stitched into every square. Penny cherished her family and loved them all unconditionally. She treated her nieces and nephews like they were her own children and took great joy in watching them grow and thrive. She was also a kind and generous friend and loved animals, especially dogs. She was great at finding the humor in life, her favorite color was yellow, and she made the best mac and cheese in all the land. Penny will be deeply missed by her family and friends. She will live on in our memories through the quilts she made, the stories she told, and the love she gave.
