Paul Douglas Bergh, 63, of Johnstown, NY passed away December 11, 2025. He was born May 14, 1962 in Babylon, NY to the late Phillip and Rose (Wayman) Bergh.

Paul was born and raised on Long Island, he was a proud New Yorker who loved his home state. He was a resident of upstate New York for the past 7 years. Paul was a hard worker, he was a warehouse manager for 30 years for Kohler on Long Island until his health issues prevented him from continuing.

Paul was an avid football fan - he loved playing and watching the game. He was a big fan of the Vikings. He was fiercely independent, and preferred a quiet life at home rather than out and about. Paul took up writing once his health prevented him from being active, and wrote and published several books.

Paul will be sorely missed by his entire family, who meant everything to him. His son Justin (Kerri) and grandsons Jakob and Kaden will miss his presence, as we went everywhere with them. He had a particularly close bond with Jakob that will be remembered forever.

The family has chosen to remember Paul's life privately at this time. A celebration of life is being planned for May 2026.
