Patty L . Dostie 82, of Midline Road Amsterdam entered into eternal life on June 27, 2025 at her residence. She was born in Amsterdam New York on August 27, 1942 the daughter of the late John and Elizabeth Osterhoudt Ammerall.

Pat was a 1960 graduate of Wilbur H Lynch, high school. She was formerly employed for Amsterdam Printing and Litho Corp. Mohasco Corp, lastly, she was a legal secretary for Lewis, Kaehler, Bates & Angle Law Firm in Schenectady, New York for 19 years until retiring.

She was predeceased by her husband, Robert M. Dostie whom she married on September 9, 1962.

Survivors include two daughters: Lynn M. Valikonis and Dawn M. (Richard) Vinciguerra.

One brother: John (Yvonne) Ammerall , two grandsons, Robert Olsen and Jon Vaikonis.

Funeral services which relatives and friends are invited to attend will be held on July 7, 2025 at 2 PM at the Betz, Rossi, Bellinger & Stewart Funeral Home 171 Guy Park Avenue Amsterdam NY 12010. A calling hour will be held from one to 2 PM at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Amsterdam.

In lieu of flowers the family asked that donations be made to Saint Jude Children's Hospital.
