Patricia Hope, 87, of Gloversville, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 2, 2025, at St. Mary's Hospital.

Born on September 20, 1937, in Lindenhurst, NY, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Margaret (Schaffer) Valenti.

Patricia was predeceased by her beloved husband, John "Scotty" Hope, on December 31, 2022, after 70 years of marriage.

Patricia started her career working as a dental hygienist for 20 years. She then went on to become an EMT working her way to become a Paramedic and would retire after 30 years of service with JAVAC. She was a devoted member of the Gloversville Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses.

Patricia is survived by her daughter, Laurie Jones (Jim); son, David Hope; brothers, Joe Valenti, Wayne Valenti, and Bobby Valenti; granddaughter, Heather; three great-grandsons, nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her siblings, Jack, Donnie, and Louis Valenti, Nancy Valenti, and Lynne Gregory.

A memorial service for Patricia will be held on Sunday, January 19, 2025, at 3 pm at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 126 S. Kingsboro Ave, Gloversville, NY 12078.

Patricia's care has been entrusted to Betz, Rossi, Bellinger & Stewart Family Funeral Home, 51 Fremont Street, Gloversville.
