Patricia Etter, 86, of Greeley, passed away Wednesday, May 14, 2025.

Patricia (Pat) was born in Lawrence, Kansas on May 29, 1938 to Ruby Eldred (Sperry) McClintock and Carrol Harris.

She attended school in Greeley. On June 20, 1953 she married Vernon Etter and the happy couple made their home in Milliken, later moving to the Bracewell area of Greeley.

Pat enjoyed her family and her community. When her kids were young, she was a Teacher's Aid at Milliken Elementary, a Boy Scouts Den Mother and 4-H Leader. She then worked as the Bookkeeper for Etter's Garage and Salvage, the family business with her husband and son. She cooked meals for the garage mechanics each day, which they all looked forward to.

She frequently listened to music as she got ready for her day and was quick to call the local radio stations to win their name-that-song contests at which she was quite successful. She also loved dancing. She was an avid reader, enjoyed learning, and accomplished in knitting and crochet. She enjoyed keeping flowers in her garden, especially roses. Throughout all, she loved to connect with others, laugh, and have fun.

She enjoyed the friendship of her caregiver Janelle.

Pat is survived by her husband Vernon; son Steve (Lael) Etter; daughters Nancy (Tom) Lake and Paula (Ward) Snyder; granddaughters Sunshine Cooley and Amanda (John Hurd) Neice; grandson Nick (Anahita) Lake-Khosravi; great grandchildren Dakota, Chance, Savannah, Ephram, Charlie, Caroline, Oskar, Tulah, Kahila, Rami, and Addy.

She is preceded in death by her parents, and brother Jim Harris.

Memorial donations may be made to Pathways of Northern Colorado or NOCO Humane.

A memorial service is planned for July 20, 2025 from 2-5pm at Historic Von Trotha-Firestien Farm in Bracewell. Be sure to bring your dancing shoes.
