IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Vincent
Lupi
July 12, 1940 – April 7, 2025
Vincent "Vinny-Jimmy" Lupi, a longtime resident of Thiells, New York passed away peacefully surrounded by his adoring family on April 7, 2025.
Vinny lived a life of love, laughter, storytelling and sunshine. He was born on July 12th, 1940, to Dario and Prudence (Janello) Lupi, brother to Flora (predeceased), Dina, and Alfred (predeceased). Vinny was very proud of his time growing up in Brooklyn, NY before moving to Thiells in 1973.
Vinny married Sharon McGuire on September 26, 1965, and lovingly celebrated their 59th wedding anniversary this past fall.
Family meant everything to Vinny and his love was reflected back to him through his children and grandchildren.
Vinny is survived by his loving wife Sharon and adoring sons, James (Gloria) Pequannock NJ, Vincent (Jessica) Blauvelt NY, Richard (Natasha) Glen Spey, NY. His Grandchildren who saw him not only as a grandfather but as a mentor and friend, Dacia, Carissa, Nicole, Katrina, Kyle, Alanna and Karoline, and blessed with his great grandchildren Jaxon and Alfred.
Vinny was successful through his career at Republic National Bank of NY and later HSBC as Vice President of Marketing. Vinny then kept busy in his retirement selling cars for Ramsey Auto Group and more importantly helping care for his grandchildren. Vinny was very competitive and the (self-proclaimed) best at any sport that involved a ball. But perhaps the most successful moments were those surrounded by his family telling stories, enjoying his favorite foods and making his grandkids laugh. When asked how he was doing, his response would often be "never better" and that sums up his life of always living in the moment with the people he loved.
Memorial visiting will be held at on Friday, April 25, 2025 from 4pm-8pm at T.J. McGowan Sons, 71 N. Central Highway Garnerville, NY . Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, April 26, 2025, 9:30am at St. Peter's and St. Mary's Church, 115 Broadway, Haverstraw, NY 10927.
In lieu of flowers please send donations to your favorite charity.
