Tammy Renee' Bellamy, a beloved wife, devoted mother, and cherished friend, passed away suddenly at her home on November 17, 2024. Born on September 6, 1966, in Suffern, New York, to Ronald Bellamy and Kathleen Stroud Bellamy, Tammy grew up in a close-knit family that shaped her compassionate spirit and kind heart.

Tammy graduated from North Rockland High School in Garnerville, NY and went on to earn her bachelor's degree from Dominican University in Orangeburg, NY. She married James Jones on March 12, 1999, in Haverstraw, NY. Together, they shared 25 years of marriage.

Known for her unwavering strength and resilience, Tammy faced challenges with remarkable grace and courage. She dedicated her life to the well-being on her family and friends, always putting the needs of others before her own. Though she often stayed busy caring for her loved ones, Tammy was the first to offer her help whenever it was needed. Her selflessness, patience, and lighthearted sense of humor touched everyone who knew her.

Tammy was the bright light in any room, effortlessly lifting spirits and bringing joy to those around her. Her laughter was infectious, and her smile had a warmth that made everyone feel at home. Her presence will be deeply missed, and her memory will forever be cherished by all who knew and loved her.

Tammy is preceded in death by her mother, Kathleen Bellamy. She is survived by her father, Ronald Bellamy; her husband, James Jones, her loving children, Michael Harper Jr., Ashley Brianna Jones, and Jaquan Jones; her siblings, Anthony Bellamy, Ronald Bellamy Jr., Dawn Brinson, Fruan Bellamy, and Rhoda Sexton; as well as a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Visitation will be held on Monday, December 2, 2024, from 3pm-6pm at TJ McGowan Sons Funeral Home, 71 N. Central Highway, Garnerville, NY, with a service at 6pm at the funeral home. Private cremation will follow.
