IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Suzanne
Cardillo
June 25, 1964 – January 11, 2026
Suzanne Luciano Cardillo was born in New Rochelle and raised in the Bronx. Through her tenacity and the loving care of her parents, Frank and Lucy Luciano, Suzanne faced life’s challenges with remarkable strength. Despite health obstacles, her determination allowed her to live a meaningful and fulfilling life. She became a certified medical assistant, married her devoted husband, Lenny Cardillo, and raised their children in Rockland County. Suzanne later worked as a gymnastics instructor for many years, always bringing dedication, warmth, and care to everything she did. Suzanne loved spending time at her country house in the Catskills, kayaking in the Adirondacks, soaking up the sun at the beach, riding rollercoasters at amusement parks, and spending time with her family and friends. It was her life mission to help all in need, and she made sure each life she touched knew they were loved and part of her family forever.
Suzanne is survived by her loving husband, Lenny (of 40 years); her children, Carl and his wife Deidre, Justin, and Krista; her siblings, Albert and Christine, and their spouses, Jackie and Tom; her sister-in-law, Roseann, and her husband, Jim; as well as a large extended family of nieces, nephews, cherished friends, and their families.
Though Suzanne may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on through the memories she created and the legacy of love she leaves behind. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Remember Suzanne when you see dragonflies buzzing around, sunflowers blooming, and the sun shining on your face as these brought her joy.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 19, 2026, from 4pm-8pm and Tuesday, January 20, 2026, from 10am-12pm at TJ McGowan Sons Funeral Home in Garnerville, NY. Services will be held at 12pm on Tuesday at the funeral home followed by a private cremation.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Suzanne’s memory to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Every contribution, no matter the size, will help further Suzanne’s legacy of strength, compassion, and hope. The family extends their sincere thanks to the Memorial Sloan Kettering team for their extraordinary care, dedication, and support throughout Suzanne’s journey.
A repass will be held at Patriot Lounge in Stony Point after the services on Tuesday. All are welcome.
