Susana Izquierdo, known as Suzy, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 17, 2022 surrounded by her two loving daughters. She was born in Toa Alta, Puerto Rico on May 24, 1929. She was married to Ramon L. Izquierdo for 48 years before his passing on January 9, 2004. A seamstress by trade, at an early age retired to take care of her grandchildren. Her love was her family, her passion was taking trips, whether being driven (Ms. Daisy), flying or on a cruise and she loved her casinos. She is survived by her two daughters, four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Suzy was loved by so many people. She will be missed tremendously. Until we meet again. Visitation will be held on Monday, January 24, from 3pm-7pm at TJ McGowan Sons Funeral Home in Garnerville, NY. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, January 25, 10am at St. Peter's Church, Haverstraw, followed by interment at Frederick Loescher Veterans Cemetery, Spring Valley, NY. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Susana's memory to United Hospice of Rockland, 11 Stokum Lane, New City, NY 10956.
