On August 20, 1974, she immigrated with her husband to the United States in pursuit of a better life for her family. Her quiet strength, sacrifice, and faith left an indelible mark on all who knew her.

Servia is survived by her children: Luz (Bryant), Elbi (Xiomara), James (Miguelina), Ramon (Carmen), Jorge (Tamara), Ramona (Samuel), Angel (Dorota), Jose (Maria), and Cerafina (Alberto).

She was a cherished grandmother to Ivonne, David, Adrian, Nicholas, Melissa, Christina, George Joel, Daniel, Andy, Cynthia, Mathew, Ariana, Emily, Isabella, Christian, and Angel, and great-grandmother to Isla, Eric, Joshua, Olivia, and Sofia.

Graveside services will be held on Thursday, May 8, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Mt. Repose Cemetery, Haverstraw, NY.

Servia will be remembered for her strength, grace, and the deep love she had for her family. Her spirit lives on in the lives she nurtured and the hearts she touched.

Together with her husband Marino, Servia raised her family with humility and discipline, guided always by their faith in God. That faith was the foundation of their home and the source of their courage, patience, and hope.

She leaves behind a beautiful legacy through her children, their spouses, and her grandchildren—each of whom carries forward her values as contributing, active members of the communities in which they live.

The family wishes to thank all of those who reached out to offer their condolences, prayers, and support to our family during this time. We are especially grateful for the team of round-the-clock caretakers that helped ensure that Amparo had the best care in the comfort of her own home.
