Obituary

Raymond J Bonelli (aka Bones), 63,  was born on January 15, 1961 to Raymond and Frances (McKenna) Bonelli. He was a proud graduate of North Rockland High School Class of '79. Ray had retired from

Clarkstown Highway Department in 2018 where he worked for many years as a foreman. He was an active life member of the Haverstraw Elks Club. Ray will be remembered as a die-hard Giants and Islanders fan who loved drinking a Budweiser and playing golf. He was an all around top of the line guy.

Ray is survived by his mother Frances McKenna-Bonelli, his daughter Alexis Grosso her husband Jarod and his grandson on the way, his two sons Christopher and Robert Bonelli, his sister Lorraine Bonelli, his former wife Lynne Zahlmann as well as countless loving family and friends. He was predeceased by his father Raymond Bonelli Sr, his brother Andrew Bonelli, and his son James Bonelli.

Bones was an incredible guy and a legend of North Rockland who would always remind you to get your mind right. Strong like Bull.

Family will receive visitors on Monday 3-7 at TJ McGowan Funeral Home in Garnerville, NY. Mass will take place on Tuesday at 11am at St. Gregory's Church. Burial to follow at Ascension Cemetery.
