Paul P. Ruzzi, of Rhinebeck, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 5, 2020. Paul was born in Suffern, NY. He was a graduate of North Rockland High School and Westchester Community College. He is survived by his wife, Susan, son, Christopher (Meredithe) of San Diego, CA, son, Matthew (Adriana) of Miami, FL, daughter Lindsay, of San Diego, CA and grandsons, Nino and Luca. His is also survived by his mother Concetta Ruzzi, brothers, Donald (Donna) and Philip (Margaret) and his sister Elaine Scarane (Nick). Also, nieces Jessica, Kayla, Layna, Kathryn, Olivia, Isabella, and Juliette and one nephew, Anthony. Paul was predeceased by his father Leo A. Ruzzi and brother Anthony. He retired from NY State DOT after a 33 year career as Civil Engineer I, followed by 9 years of consulting engineering. He took great pride in his children and grandchildren. Paul had a passion for his 69' Dodge Dart, muscle cars and NASCAR. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, August 11th, 11:30am, at St. Gregory Barbarigo Church in Garnerville, followed by interment at St. Peter's Cemetery, Haverstraw, NY.
