Patricia "Pat" Byron, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and cherished member of the Garnerville community, passed away peacefully on June 14, 2025, at the age of 94.

Born in the Bronx to John and Ruth (O'Reilly) Webber, Pat built a life rooted in faith, family, and community. In 1953, she married the love of her life, John Byron. Together, they shared 65 wonderful years of marriage, raising four children and creating a home filled with warmth and devotion.

For many years, Pat was a dedicated homemaker, lovingly raising her children. Later, she worked for the North Rockland School District as a school monitor at Thiells Elementary School, where she was known for her kindness and watchful care.

Pat and John were proud founding members of St. Gregory Barbarigo Church in Garnerville, where she remained an active parishioner and daily communicant for more than 50 years. Her faith was the foundation of her life, and she generously gave her time to church ministries and the local community.

Pat was also a joyful member of several local Senior Citizens groups, where she treasured the camaraderie and thoroughly enjoyed group outings and trips. She especially valued the lifelong friendships formed in her neighborhood, fondly known as “the top of the hill.”

Pat was predeceased by her beloved husband, John, her sister Madeline, and her brothers Jack and Jim. She is survived by her four children: Patty (Chris) of Michigan, Kathy (Ray) of Brewster, NY, John (Rosa) of Garnerville, NY, and Tom (Patti) of Ohio; her grandchildren: Jim, Karen, Dan, Laura, Kyle, and C.J.; and her great-grandchildren: Vivien, Teddy, Matilda, and Summer. She also leaves behind many loving nieces and nephews, and countless dear friends and neighbors.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Thursday, June 19, from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at T.J. McGowan & Sons Funeral Home, 71 North Central Highway, Garnerville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, June 20, at 11:00 AM at St. Gregory Barbarigo Church, followed by interment at F.W. Loescher Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
