Neva Ashenberner passed away August 20, 2021 at the age of 90 due to congestive heart failure. She was born 1931 in Portland, Or. and resided in Oregon until her death. She attended Gilbert Grade school and Gresham High School. Neva served as a dietician in the Army at at Madigan general hospital for 2 years and her basic training was completed at Fort Lawton in Seattle. She met and married her husband Bill in 1952, and they had two sons, Paul & Ralph. She had A long time career as a meat wrapper and retired in 1990. She was preceded in death by her husband Bill. She's survived by her two sons, Paul Ashenberner of Canby and Ralph Ashenberner. She is survived by her brothers, Jerry Monish of Sandy and Eddy Monish of Brightwood. She is also survived by her adoptive family Cheryl Braim of Gresham Austin of Eagan, MN, Michael Braim of Portland and Brandon Braim of Gresham. ** Funeral Services will be held at Wilhelm Portland Memorial, September 13, 2021 6705 SE 14th Ave. Portland, OR. 97202 **Reception to follow at Mountain View Christian Church 1890 NE Cleveland Ave. Gresham, OR.
