With heavy hearts and deep sorrow we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Nancy P. Smith in the early hours of March 7th, 2025. Nancy was born on March 20th, 1956 in Queens New York. Nancy was the heart of the family. She was a woman of great strength, imagination and endless generosity. Nancy is survived by her devoted daughters, Jessica Smith, Alison Bergmann and Michelle Freeman, her loving son in laws Thomas Bergmann and Kevin Freeman, and her beautiful grandsons Blake Bergmann, Bradley Bergmann, Brody Freeman and Peyton Freeman. She is also survived by her beloved brother Paulie B, and her soul sister Carol Brosnan. Nancy had a gift for making everyone feel welcome and at home. Her kitchen was always filled with great food, laughter, and love. Nancy created beautiful memories for everyone who came across her path. She was a genuine and kind person. Though our hearts ache we take comfort in knowing she is reunited with her best friend and loving husband Bradford P. Smith. A celebration of her life will be held at T.G McGowan on Sunday, March 16th, 2pm-6pm. A graveside service will be held on Monday, March 17th at 11am at Gethsemane Cemetery, Rockland Lake, Congers, NY.
