Michael S. Sansalone, 95 years of age, of Garnerville, N.Y., passed away January 12, 2024. He was born in Tomkins Cove, NY on March 30, 1928 to Michael and Tomasina Sansalone. He was married to Irene Sansalone on September 3, 1949. Michael worked at BOCES of West Nyack for thirty-one years starting as a bus driver and then becoming the supervisor of transportation. He loved to cook for his family and prepared a delicious Sunday dinner every week for everyone. He is survived by his three children Joyce Sansalone-Clarke of New City, Michelle Rockwell of Nyack, Carl and Eleanor Sansalone of Garnerville and three grandchildren, Chris Rockwell, Ashley Sansalone and Stephanie Avallone, as well as six great grandchildren. He was also survived by one sister, Marie Licht. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 18, 2024 from 4pm-8pm at TJ McGowan Sons Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held on Friday, January 19, 2024 11am, at St. Peter's Cemetery, Haverstraw, NY.
