Madonna Catherine Posey was born to Lawrence and Elsa Wehage on February 3rd 1940 in Pliger, Saskatchewan, Canada. She was the first of 15 children. She was a very gifted student in primary school and in high school at St Mary's Academy. Madonna married Michael Posey on May 18, 1963. They were blessed with three daughters, Kirstin Moore (Greg), Jennifer Posey and Leslie Williamson. In 2003, the light of her life, granddaughter Emma was born to Leslie. Madonna enjoyed a wide variety of hobbies including logic puzzles, woodworking, upholstery, a very eclectic taste in music but her favorite was always reading. More than anything she loved her children and her granddaughter. Madonna passed on August 17th, 2021 from kidney failure. Her love in our lives will be missed everyday.
