June Constance Hoffman, 75, of Pomona, New York, passed away unexpectedly on September 23, 2024, at her home.

June is survived by her husband of 54 years Stephen Hoffman, children:  Stephen and daughter in law Allison  Hoffman, Craig and daughter in law Melissa Hoffman, Miles and daughter in law Jocelyn Hoffman, grandchildren: Sterling, Logan, Sophia, Victoria and Amelia, Nieces: Pamela Tofil, Rebecca Kurth and Jennifer Hoffman and Nephews: Darren Kurth, Kevin Kane, Patrick Kane and Michael Hoffman and great nephews and nieces: Spencer Kane, Clara & Ellie Hoffman, Gideon and Elijah Botnick, Nicholas Tofil, Annalise, Ava and Meadow Kurth and Billie Grace Cahill.

She was preceded in death by her parents Anthony and Anna Jaroszewski, sister Carol Ann Kurth and nephews Anthony Kurth and Gerry Kurth, Jr.

June grew up in New Jersey with her parents Anna and Anthony (Cookie) and her sister and best friend Carol. She graduated with a biology degree from Montclair State University where she met her lifelong friends Sheila Alvarez and Pamela Hofker. In 1970, June married the love of her life Stephen, then moved to Pomona, New York in 1980 where she lovingly raised her 3 sons. She adored her children, nieces and nephews and grandchildren and lit up when surrounded by her family. Every year she counted down the days until the annual Jersey Shore family vacation in Seaside Park NJ, where some of our fondest memories were created. She was known for her creativity and could crochet or bedazzle a decoration or costume for any occasion at the drop of a hat. She was a phenomenal cook and baker, famous for her pasta sauce, pierogies and cheesecakes. June made us all laugh with her quick wit and expressions. Our hearts are heavy today, and we will all miss her dearly.

Friends and family may come to call on Monday September 30th 4:00-8:00 pm at TJ McGowan Sons Funeral Home, 71 Central Highway, Garnerville, New York. A mass of Christian burial will be held at Immaculate Conception Church, located at 26 John Street, Stony Point NY on Tuesday, October 1st at 10am. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in June's memory to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, www.stjude.org .
