Grace Ellison (Albanese) of Garnerville, NY, was born March 3, 1925 to Vincent and Edna (Meyers) Albanese of Northvale, N.J. She died peacefully on December 8, 2024 at the age of 99.

She is mourned by daughter Dianne Binaghi, grandchildren Kim (Eddie) Lee, Yvette Binaghi, Jennifer (Frank) Cogliano, Matthew Prentice, Lyndsay Ellison (Danny) Roy and great grandchildren James Prentice, Anna Grace and Sarah Olivia Roy as well as many relatives and friends. Grace is also survived by her brother Donald Albanese and his wife Joan. She is predeceased by her husband of 71 years, Carroll Ellison, son Terry Ellison and son-in-law Peter J. Binaghi.

Grace worked for over 30 years as a food service employee at James A. Farley Middle School in Stony Point NY.  In her spare time she loved gardening, sewing, refinishing furniture, solving jigsaw puzzles, watching game shows and cooking for family gatherings.

Viewing hours are Wednesday December 18, 12-4 PM at TJ McGowan Sons Funeral Home in Garnerville NY. Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 19 at 11:00 AM at TJ McGowan and Sons. Burial services will be held immediately after at Rockland Cemetery in Sparkill, NY.
