Grace V. Butwill of Brooklyn, NY passed away June 28, 2025. Grace was born in Pennsylvania on January 18, 1923 and graduated from East Union Township High School. Grace married Stanley Butwill on August 17, 1946. Grace had a career in education with the N.Y.C. Department of Education. Grace loved her family, traveling and enjoying life.

She is survived by her Son Stanley (Roseann) Butwill and her daughter Claudia (tom) Prisco, 5 grandchildren and 10 grandchildren.

A Visitation will be held from 4-8pm on July 8, 2025, at T.J. McGowan Sons Funeral Home 71 N. Central Highway, Garnerville, NY 10923. A funeral Mass will be celebrated 10am July 9, 2025 at St. Gregory Barbarigo Catholic Church 25 Cinder Rd. Garnerville, NY 10923. A graveside service will be held 2pm July 9 at the Long Island National Cemetery in Farmingdale, Long Island, NY.
