Erica Jane Mayton, 43, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, March 31, 2021, at Kaiser Permanente – Sunnyside Medical Center from coronary artery thrombosis and significant conditions contributing to Marfan Syndrome. Erica was born August 6, 1977, in Portland, Oregon, and was daughter to Reed K. Alber and Linda J. Lovely. Erica grew up in Oregon and Hawaii. She graduated from Beaverton High School and attended classes at Portland Community College. She married Christopher E. Mayton on August 27, 2000, and they had two daughters, Sydney J. Mayton and Lauren C.K Mayton. Erica and her family lived in Tennessee, Oregon, and Illinois before coming back to Sandy, Oregon, in July 2016. Erica was passionate about the unique language and logic of Cardology and Numerology; she often studied the cards of family and friends and became fascinated with the timing of world events and the correlation to this ancient esoteric science. Erica was also a follower of Astrology. She was particularly keen on transitions within the planetary cycles. In addition to her husband and daughters, Erica is survived by her father, mother, stepmother: Kinau Alber, brother: Joseph C. Alber, stepdaughters: Hali A. Mayton & Hannah N. Mayton, two beloved dogs: Bentley & Liberty, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. A celebration of life will take place at a future date.
