Elaine "Pinky" Leone (Hulse) of West Haverstraw, NY passed away peacefully on February 5th 2025 after a long, courageous battle with breast cancer. She was 58 years old. Family and friends surrounded her with love in her last days.
Elaine was born in Natick Massachusetts on May 2,1966 to Kathleen and Charles Hulse. She worked in the North Rockland School district for 15 years, known as Mrs. Leone to the students who adored her.
Elaine met her husband Angelo 1989, and had been married for 33 years. The two built a beautiful life and family. Together they shared two children; Daughter Victoria Moser (Leone), Son in law, Harry, two grandchildren, Taylor and Travis, Son Angelo Leone and his fiancé Faith. Dear sister of Jeanne Eccles, Charles Hulse, Rosemary Gallagher, Laura Juel, Christopher Hulse. Sister-in-law to Carmela Willett, Maria Dombek, Yan Yan Leone. Cherished Aunt to her many nieces and nephews.
Elaine lived her life to the fullest. She loved spending her time with her grandchildren, getting her makeup done by Taylor and doing silly snapchat filters with Travis. Elaine loved going on vacation, cherishing every opportunity to explore new places and the old. Every summer since she was 2 years old, she would venture up to New Hampshire to spend the week at her second home, Sandy Island, with family and life long friends. She enjoyed spending time with her husband, Angelo, and their second family, the Hudson Valley Hogs, cherishing every moment of camaraderie, laughter, and adventure they shared together.
Family will receive friends on Saturday 2/8/25 from 2-6 PM at TJ McGowan Sons Funeral Home, 71 N. Central Highway, Garnerville, NY . In true Pinky fashion, we encourage everyone to wear a shade of pink. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Susan G.
