Eileen Elizabeth O'Donovan (nee Henchy) passed away peacefully at home on July 11, 2021. She was born in the Bronx on January 7, 1936 to Martin and Mary Henchy. She graduated from St. Jean Baptiste in 1953. She was married to Gerald O'Donovan on November 17, 1956. Eileen worked in data entry for DairyLea and the County of Rockland in addition to volunteering at Helen Hayes Hospital. She was an active member of St. Gregory Barbarigo Church for over 50 years. Eileen is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Gerald O'Donovan, her 4 children Stephen O'Donovan, Jean Fernandez, Mary Ellen Hokanson, Chris O'Donovan, 12 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by her sister Theresa Healy and parents Martin and Mary Henchy. Her bright eyes and quick wit will be missed by all.
