IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Dwayne
Morgese
October 13, 1964 – December 12, 2025
The family of Dwayne Morgese is saddened to announce his sudden and unexpected passing on December 12, 2025. Dwayne was born in Spring Valley, New York, on October 13, 1964. Dwayne was raised in Stony Point by his Italian immigrant parents, who instilled in him a strong work ethic and deep family values.
Dwayne spent his early years helping in the family business as a mason alongside his father, Vito. He later found his place working with Volvo Cars, where he dedicated 30 years of loyal service. Outside of his work, he dedicated much of his time to his lifelong passion for music. Dwayne was a gifted bassist and guitarist, with the ability to play many other instruments as well. In his earlier years, he played in a band called Vampirates, a chapter of his life he always cherished. He was a lifelong admirer of KISS, his favorite band, who inspired his love of music.
At home, Dwayne cherished spending time by the pool, often surrounded by family and friends. He was also a talented home cook, especially known for his homemade pizza and focaccia. As a lifelong fan of the Miami Dolphins, Dwayne looked forward to every Sunday game. In addition to his time at home, he also enjoyed his free time at the family’s farmhouse in the Catskill Mountains and traveling to Wildwood, New Jersey during the summers.
Dwayne is survived by his two sons, Nick and Alex; his father, Vito; and his brothers, Deane and David. He will also be remembered by many cherished nieces, nephews, and extended family members. He was predeceased by his mother, Antonette, whom he missed dearly and is now reunited with.
Family and friends are welcome to attend a celebration of life in honor of Dwayne on Saturday, January 17, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at T.J. McGowan Sons Funeral Homes located at 71 N Central Hwy, Garnerville, NY 10923.
Though Dwayne will be deeply missed, his family and friends will carry forward his legacy and cherish his memory forever.
