Obituary

Dorothy Francis Bulson, 82, of Stony Point, NY, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend passed away peacefully on September 27, 2024.

Dorothy is survived by her beloved husband of 62 years, Jack Howard Bulson, Sr.; her children, Jack Jr., Dirk (Cristina) and Brett (Kimberly); and her grandchildren, Jack III, Nicole, Jessica, Brody, Lexie, Nick, Jared and Tyler; her great grandchildren, Milania, Penelope, Gianna, Mia, Nevaeh, Savannah, Montana, Alanis; and her sister, Janet Hamilton. She was preceded in death by her parents, Helen and Joseph Miotk; and her brothers, Raymond, John and Frankie; and sisters, Helen, Kay and Micky.

Dorothy grew up in Rockland County, NY with her parents and siblings. In 1962, she married the love of her life, Jack, and started her family where she lovingly raised her 3 beloved sons. She adored her children, niece and nephew, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She lit up when surrounded by her family. She was known for her creativity, decorations, and her phenomenal cooking. She loved hunting for cookbooks and collectables. She made us all laugh with her quick wit and expressions. She dedicated her life to touching countless lives as a dedicated housewife, and over her 15-year career at Letchworth Village. She loved creating works of art, gardening, cooking big dinners for holidays and spending time with her family and friends where some of our fondest memories were created. Most importantly, her life is a true testament of unyielding strength and courage. She will be deeply missed but her legacy of love, perseverance and spirit will live on in the hearts of her family and friends. Our Wonder Woman.

Friends and family may come to call on Thursday, October 3rd between 4:00 and 7:00 pm at T.J. McGowan Sons Funeral Home, 71 Central Highway, Garnerville, NY. A mass of Christian burial will be held at the same location on Friday, October 4th at 11:00am.

She was a wonderful mother who was always there when we needed her the most, offering support, wisdom, and love in abundance. She will be deeply missed by all those that knew her. Heaven gained an angel.
