On the morning of April 23rd, 2024, Doris Granata (nee Waldron), 88, of Stony Point passed away peacefully with her family by her side. Doris was born on November 29th, 1935 and raised in Haverstraw, NY. She married the love of her life, Salvatore "Frank" Granata on May 2, 1954 and they made Stony Point their home. For many years Doris worked as an Administrative Assistant at Letchworth Village and later managed the athletic office at NRHS where her children also attended high school. Doris was a devoted wife and mother. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 62 years, Frank and precious grandson, Matthew McIntryre. Doris is survived by her three children, Deborah (Kevin) McIntyre of Wimauma, Florida, Frank Mark Granata of Pomona, NY, Robert (Melissa) Granata of Hatboro, PA and her cherished grandchildren Miles & Christopher McIntyre and Jamie & Cara Granata. A private memorial service will be scheduled at the convenience of the family.
