Donald Gay McLaughlin was 97 years old at the time of his death. He lived his final days at Lamessa Adult Care in Portland, Oregon. Donald died on August 16, 2021. Donald is survived by his wife Virginia McLaughlin, his two daughters, Maureen Baker and Cathleen Byrd. Maureen has three sons, Keith, John, and Eugene Riddle. Cathleen has two daughters, Crystal June and Cody Ann. His wife Virginia has three daughters, Rachael Dickson, Victoria Montgomery, and Elizabeth Hager. Donald was born in Long Branch, New Jersey, but lived most of his life in New York. Donald went to aviation trade school. Donald main job was working for the government in the Fire Department. He retired there after 25 years of service. Donald served two years in the Navy during WWII.
