Dennis M. Slevin passed away on February 8, 2022. He was 47 years old. Dennis was born at Good Samaritan Hospital on March 8, 1974 to John and Joan Slevin (nee Wilkinson). He graduated from North Rockland High School and went on to Rockland Community College where he obtained an Associate's Degree. Dennis was an avid sports fan and loved the NY Rangers, the NY Mets, the NY Giants and Notre Dame Football but his greatest joy came from his three nephews. Dennis is survived by his mother, Joan, his brother John, his sisters Joanne Slevin, Patricia Klettlinger (Chris), and his nephews Zachary, Nicholas, and Dax. He was predeceased by his father, John D. Slevin. Visitation will be held on Monday, February 14th from 4-8pm at TJ McGowan Sons Funeral Home in Garnerville. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, February 15th, 11am, at St. Gregory Barbarigo Church, Garnerville, followed by interment at St. Peter's Cemetery, Haverstraw, NY. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Friedreich's Ataxia Research Alliance.
