With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Cristian Marc Alvarado who left this world on July 1, 2024, at the age of 29. Born in Nyack Hospital on May 5th, 1995. Raised in Chicago, to Yolanda Fernandez and the late Marco John Alvarado. Cristian was a beloved, husband, father, brother, son, uncle, cousin, and friend.

He had a passion for music, video games, chess, and basketball but nothing more than being a good dad and spending time with his two sons.

Cristian was a genuine person with an awesome personality who loved to make people laugh and see people smile. It was truly impossible not to be in good spirits around him.

Cristian is survived by his wife, Yaneth. His children Logan and Levi. His brothers and sisters, Marieliz, Rachel, Miquel and Joanaliz. His grandfather Charles Alvarado. His grandmother Miriam Rodriquez. His aunts Elizabeth Alvarado, Rosa Rodriquez and Liliana Fernandez. His mother-in-law Juana Rajo. Numerous aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, in-laws, and friends. He will also be missed by the members of The First Christian Church of The Good Shepherd.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 10th, from 4pm - 8pm at TJ McGowan Sons Funeral Home in Garnerville, NY.
