Anita A. Pfaff passed away peacefully with her family by her side on January 23rd 2022. She was 93 years old. Anita was born in Germany September 16th 1929 to Detrich and Kathe Stubbe. She worked as a teacher at West Haverstraw Elementary school for many years where she made lifelong friends with many of her fellow teachers. Anita was married to Harry L. Pfaff for over 50 years and had three children, Kurt, Eric and Karen. Anita was also the beloved grandmother of Erica, Katherine and Elizabeth. She was known for being kind, generous and friendly to all. Anita loved to read and entertain and lived to take care of her loved ones. She will be missed by her many friends and especially her family. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, January 27th, 11:00am at Mt. Repose Cemetery, Haverstraw, NY, with a committal service done by Pastor Martin Tyce from Atonement Lutheran Church.
