Steckbauer, Niles, 68 passed away February 2, 2026 at Life Path Hospice. Born in US Army Hospital, Sagamihara, Japan and moved to Florida at the age of 5, where he lived his entire life.

He was preceded in death by his parents Curtis Steckbauer, Sharon Wickenhauser and step-father Robert Wickenhauser. Niles is survived by his son Kevin Steckbauer, sister Jo Nocera (Bert), nephew Brent Nocera (Emily), niece Chelsea Resnikoff (Joey) and Kevin’s siblings, Charles Kirksey, Lauren LeBlanc, and Brittany Easler.

Niles enjoyed traveling in his RV, spending time with his friends and family, and making everyone smile.

There will be a Memorial Service on February 11, 2026 Visitation, 1-2pm; Service, 2-3pm at Sun City Center Funeral Home, 1851 Rickenbacker Drive, Sun City Center, FL. 33573.
