Obituary

Nannette Ryan Hansen passed away peacefully in her sleep on December 23, 2024. Born as Nanette Cecilia on June 16, 1955, at Mercy Hospital in Des Moines, Iowa, to Thomas Dean Ryan and JoAnn Marian Godfrey. Her family moved to Boulder, Colorado, in 1960. After graduating from Fairview High School in 1974, she moved to San Francisco where she attended Heald College and studied stenography. She was married twice, in 1980 and 1989.

From 1987 to 2008, Nannette worked in the healthcare industry conducting hospital admissions, mainly at Avista Hospital in Louisville, Colorado. She greeted and assisted patients during some of their most difficult times with her warm and welcoming smile. In 2016, Nann moved to Greeley, Colorado, where she helped at her daughter's art studio and cherished spending time with her grandchildren.

She is lovingly survived by her daughter Rachael and son-in-law Chris; her son Colten and daughter-in-law Ye; her brother David; her sisters Diane, Carla, and Pamela; grandchildren Riley and Creed; and a myriad of stepchildren, nieces, nephews, friends, and lovers. She is preceded in death by the many animals she loved and cared for throughout her life, including Raps, Reba, Chloe, Tango, and Miss C.

A Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, January 4, 2025, at Sunrise Ranch in Loveland, Colorado at 1 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Animal Friends Alliance of Fort Collins.
