Michael V Suchy Sr.(Mike) 82 of Gloversville, a beloved husband and father, sadly left our world and entered into eternal peace on July 26, 2025, after a brief illness. He is the son of the late Florence and Tom Siegle and Michael and Polly Suchy. Mike married the love of his life, the late Sandra Suchy, on June 17th,1961.  After a brief career at Central Market, Mike and Sandy owned and operated M&S Liquor for over 40 years together until their retirement. Mike was an avid Buffalo Bills fan, bowler, and fisherman and had a love for gardening. He always had a smile on his face and a great sense of humor that always lit up a room with his presence.   Mike sadly leaves behind his three children, Michael Jr. (Wendy), Steven (Kimberly), and Cindy VanAlstyne. Nine grandchildren, Michael lll (Brittany), Beau (Stephanie), Erika (Russell), Tristan (Nicole), Brendan (Jordyn), Caitlyn (Ryan), Kyle, Rj, Zachary and Rich Clemons. Eight great grandchildren, Collin, Haven, Harper, Hadley, Remi, Keaton, Sophia, and Amelia. Step-brother, Randy (Nancy). Several nieces and nephews and brothers and sisters in law.   In addition to his parents and wife, he was pre-deceased by his beloved dog Satchie, mother and father in law, Rita and George Kiffney, brother in law Gary, and step-sister Cheryl.  Per Mike's request, no funeral service will be held. There will be a private grave side burial for his children to say their final goodbyes.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to any animal shelter of your choice.  A special thanks to the amazing staff at River Ridge Living Center, where Mike lived out his final days with great care and compassion. We will forever be grateful for you all.
